Weigh in

So beginning of march I was 179 lbs. That was up from a low of 154 in august.  After my vacation to Seattle I was 160. So it was a solid 20 lb gain.

Today I am 170 lbs so I'm dropping again. Still up 10-15 but I'm on the right track. Itll come off!

Im starting a new job the first week of april and also moving that same week so ill be busy and mobile for at least another month. Then spring should officially be here and I'll be able to get active outside again.

Then.... april 28th starts the 6 week #tiu #bikiniseries!!!! Cant wait! Life is looking up! :-)

Up 3.6lbs - 6.8lbs

  • 168.8 (That's up 3.6 lbs from last week)
I don't know how accurate my scale is at this point. It actually said 172 (then I'd be up 6.8 lbs from last week) when I first got on it this morning. :/ I'm trying so hard not to freak out about these numbers. It also says I'm stuck at 48% water... But I've been drinking 5-8 bottles every day for a week so I also don't know how that's possible.

I have an appointment with my doctor on Monday and I'm hoping we can figure out what might be going on. Maybe it's a hormonal thing? I know I've fallen off a bit but not this much. I have always had cheat days and even cheat weeks by accident but the scale didn't shift THIS much.  It's only been since September/October that I started really climbing. So I don't know. I know it COULD be the holiday-weight-gain but it just doesn't seem right.

Today I ate: 
M1: 3 egg whites w/ 2 slices low cal toast + 17 oz water
M2: Coffee w/ truvia and a little half&half
M3: Ovengold Turkey on low cal bread w/ lettuce & mustard + 17 oz water
M4: Low Sodium Tuna
M5: Extra Lean Ground Turkey w/ Northern Beans & Chili seasoning w/ 2 slices low cal bread & 34 oz water

And today I joined a new gym. They're called Charter Fitness and it's only $20 a month with unlimited guest visits! I'm excited to go! Although, it is going to overdraw my bank account... I feel like I had to!

154 goal

Sadly my weigh in today was NOT GOOD.

  • 162.0 lbs
  • 30.9% fat
  • 50.5% water
  • 33.2% muscle

I'm just going to keep on it and hope that this is an influx before a big drop off. :/ It's really discouraging though. Why cant weight loss be as easy as it is on paper?

155 goal

Well, after a significant amount of bloating, I got my monthly last night. :) WHAT A RELIEF! I weighed in at 158.0 last night, a few hours before it came. This morning I am getting mixed reviews. The low this morning was 158, the high was 164...within 20 minutes of each other. Also got a weigh in at 162.  Not sure about all that. I'm thinking it's on the fritz again. But I do have my period so maybe something crazy is happening. Ha! 

I'll try to weigh in again later with more concrete results.

Up 1, but down 11 since Sunday - No joke.

Sunday I actually weighed in at 167! I felt horrible Monday and Tuesday, but lost 2-3 lbs each day by drinking a ton of water with lemon and easting detox foods like cucumber. I think it was obviously water and toxins. :/ That's enough to make me never want to eat beer and pizza again! YIKES

Up a few in Toxins. Ready to detox




Right now I'm weighing in at 160.0. I don't think its accurate but I'm certain I'm filled with toxins and stuff since all we did is drink and eat pretty much one heavy meal a day of takeout. It'll feel really great to detox and get back to feeling light and healthier. :)

Healthy Thursday + Leaving for Vaycay

Here is our forecast for the week. :)
Here are a few things I ate this week/ detoxing and trying to lose a few before the trip. What is my final weigh in, you ask? :D

These are great results & I am so excited to leave! Hoping the pictures turn out good so I can be proud of my weigh loss so far! I also hope I don't veer TOO far from my diet, but it is a vacation so I wont be counting calories. I already told my boyfriend though that since we want to try a bunch of famous restaurants, I think we should split the food so we can try more and not over eat. He agreed it's a good idea.

??? Not sure how accurate this was, but hopefully not at all! :/ UG. If I don't drop back down to 159 at least by Friday, I'm dropping the Calorie Uppage.  I think I might be sick, though. Which I don't know if that even effects body weight, but I feel like crap. My body hurts really bad - especially my neck and into my shoulder and between my shoulder blades. I don't want to move at all...it even hurts to lay down. It's giving me a head ache, too. It might be from the overnights and just getting so little sleep for 4 nights. I'm going to try to not freak out, and adjust my routine today and tomorrow. I'll have a second-check weigh in on Friday to gauge my damages.

Tonight, I got my monthly. I knew it was coming and was kind of skipping the weigh in, but figured I better just post it.

My results stayed pretty much the same as last week. I did NO workouts until yesterday and I was eating too much! I stayed within my 2300 BMR calories, but I don't even think I was stayed at 1700.  Now I know that my BMR is correct and if I want to maintain my weight, I know how much to eat until I have to workout to burn before I gain.

Going into this week (week meaning Wed-Wed) I want to try to keep my calories at 1200, so cut 500 in eating and cut 500 in workouts. I want to see if I lose 2 lbs, of if there's a variation somewhere.

50 burpees today!
+ 45 min on the treadmill (about 300 calories)

Calorie Uppage Assessment - down .2 lbs

How is the 1700 calorie adjustment working out?
Well, to my surprise I'm not gaining weight. I've drank almost every day and I haven't worked out in a long time. Last night I had a huge pasta dish from Macaroni grill plus a lot of drinks. And, sadly I will admit that the past couple days, thanks to the drinks Ive had, I've probably been closer to 2300 calories (which is my BMR), meaning I'm eating to maintain, not lose. So my results are exactly as expected, sadly. lol.

  • 50.8% water
  • 33.6% muscle 

HOLY YAY! New TIU addition to the nutrition plan! Gosh, K&K are so spot on with what the community asks for and they deliver so quickly! Their commitment to us is so awesome!

  • W/O update: Today I did 30 minutes jogging/walking and burned 250 calories. 2 miles #100bysummer. 23/100 so far.
  • Protein update: I'm at 118g protein (overate at lunch while catching up on Season 2 of Girls.)

7DSD Day 7 Down 3.2

Last day of 7DSD. Did it help? Can't wait to find out!

158.2 lbs (Back down from the bloating, but the same from before the bloating. lol)
30.3% fat (down .5%)
51% water
33.5% muscle (up .3%)

These are better results! So...it seems like eating more is helping me lose weight??! And pushing my fat down and muscle up! Because the last few months I was lucky to see a .1% change each week, and this week my fat went down .5%. :) I think that's my favorite result this week!

Yesterday I mostly stuck to the 7DSD, except I didn't drink enough water and I had some whole wheat tortillas. Not bad though!
