At Home Gym

There is nothing glamorous about what I'm doing you guys. Lol. In reference to those pictures that show really healthy people working out, like it's this wonderful, mood-elevating thing... NOT FOR ME! Sure, sometimes I get endorphins mid-workout (but not always) and sometimes I feel really great after a hard workout. But pretty much the whole time during the workout, I'm miserable. This fitness instructor's motto throughout was that he would only push us for 60 seconds. And we only had to do each move for 60 seconds
. Except that every other 60 seconds we were doing a really hard move! Haha. I was yelling at the TV. Good workout though!
I'm going to keep with this particular workout until I can at least get through the whole thing. The first time I made it 30 minutes (I was still sick at the time) and the second time I made it 45 minutes, then switched and did his 5 minute ab routine which I made it all the way through (barely.) Next time hopefully I can make it the whole 60 minutes, and keep up with all the moves. Once I can do that, I will move on to a more challenging routine. :)
I took a video for part of my workout because I wanted to see if I was performing the moves properly. It's pretty obvious I'm not but that's another thing I can work on that I wouldn't have known about otherwise. Unless you have a full-wall mirror that you can watch as you workout, I'd suggest this for anyone to do from time to time, just to gage where they're at.

Then I made this little at home gym for the times when I can't make it to the gym or times I already went to the gym but want to work out again later in the day. Why do I have two fitness balls? I wanted to use it as a chair to sit on at the computer, but they're too short. I bought the purple one first which is 55cm then I went and bought the blue one which is 65cm but its still too small. I want to return one or both and get a 75 cm one. So frustrating! The$20, the jump rope cost $10.  I already had the resistance band, the weights, and the roller.
n I just have a resistance band, a jump rope, some 5 lb weights that strap around my wrists or ankles, and the roller for pushups. Each fitness ball cost
The Jillian Michael's DVD that I'm starting for my March Thigh Focus cost $10.  And the new book I got, the Abs Diet for women cost $18.
