Things have taken a turn for the worse! Saturday I felt really depressed, but went to workout anyway. I did a really good workout but my nose kept running throughout it, which sometimes I guess happens when our bodies work really hard. Both Friday and Saturday I went to bed super early, like 7:30pm. Sunday morning I woke up at 2am with the runniest nose and I knew it was over. All day I was sniffly and sneezing.
My boyfriend had a birthday thing at Dave and Busters with his family which I didn't attend. He wasn't thrilled but whatever... things haven't been going the greatest on that front either. More arguing, more distance.
Monday I went to work at 4am and looked like total hell. Eyes puffy, nose beat red. Almost every single person at work had something to say: "Are you ok? Have you been crying? Did you get in a fight? What's wrong? You look like hell." I just looked awful. I left work early and went to the minute clinic and got diagnosed with Sinusitis, Ear Infection, and severe nasal drip. So I got antibiotics but I have to take it easy for a few today's to let my body get used to the antibiotics and fight all the yuckiness off. I'm bummed, legitimately. I like my time at the gym, destressing and getting in shape.
While I was laying on the couch sick I watched On-Demand fitness videos and health segments. I tried to get up and do some but my body just wasn't having it. Still, I think I got a good feel for some workouts that I'll be doing to help tone certain areas. I also watched a segment on "Insanity!" and got really tempted to try it. The results are incredible! If I could stay motivated and really, REALLY focused for 60 days, I'd be so interested to see the results.
I've been doing these on demand aerobics too. They get confusing lol but I'm gonna practice while I'm away from my DDR. Just make sure to keep hydrated and eat some healthy soup and oranges. Hopefully all that will help speed up your recovery!! Remember that it won't undo your progress by taking a couple days to rest!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Thats exactly what im eating! Plus a yogurt with live cultures once a day between taking the antibiotics. Also, since i am drinking a lotta tea i made it green tea bc rumor has it you can burn 400 extra calories a week by drinking 10 cups of green tea a day. Its a lotta drinking tea but its the best i can do until i get back to the gym
DeleteYeah I believe it. For Christmas Scots sister got me this chocolate infused w green tea that's suppose to help u lose weight but it says not to b used if pregnant or nursing so I'm waiting patiently lol
